Dear Students, I have put some further links below that may help you to write your compare and contrast section of the essay. The first two are very detailed, so you will need to consider this information in light of the task and adapt it. <http://www.unc.edu/depts/wcweb/handouts/comparison_contrast.html> <http://essayinfo.com/essays/comparison_essay.php> The third link has a list of useful words that you could use in a compare and contrast essay. <http://www2.actden.com/writ_Den/tips/paragrap/compare.htm> A compare and contrast essay is asking you to discuss the similarities and differences of the topic. In this case, the topic is the children's readings, so you need to show what the similarities and differences are of the 6 readings. You will not have a lot of room to discuss this, so choose the most important points to compare and contrast. You may repeat something that you have said in one or more of the 6 reading analyses but you need to show the overall, general similarities and/or differences. Hope that this helps. Di
